### **Urology Senior Medical Director opening in Portsmouth, OH**Located in Portsmouth, OH – Huntington, WV 60m; Cincinnati, OH 105mFull-time; PermanentEmployedSeeking Board Certified UrologistLeadership experience preferred### **Overview:*** Serve as Senior Medical Director of a well-established hospital-employed Urology practice* Flexible schedule with standard hours of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Monday–Thursday and 8:00 AM–Noon Friday* 1:3 call, approximately 17 weeks per year* Outpatient volume of approximately 15–20 patients/day across 3–4 half-day clinics* OR volume of approximately 4–8 procedures/day* Supported by 2 NPs, 3 Medical Office Assistants, 6 clinical staff, 1 surgery scheduler, and 1 UDS technician* Participate in weekly tumor board meetings and provide leadership to the Urology team* Equipment includes UDS, ultrasound, rigid and flexible cystoscopes, disposable cystoscopes, and additional procedural equipment* Meditech EMR with Dragon Medical One* Teaching opportunities with medical students, residents, and advanced practitioner trainees* Opportunity for Clinical Adjunct Faculty status with an affiliated medical school---### **Comp/Benefits:*** $708,320 base salary for initial 2-year contract* Up to 10% additional bonus incentives + sign-on bonus of 15% of base salary, up to $100,000* Up to $200,000 medical school loan repayment ($25,000/year for each year of service commitment)* 34 days PTO + 10 additional CME days and up to $7,000 CME allowance* Up to $10,000 moving assistance + up to $25,000 residency stipend* 403(b) with dollar-for-dollar match up to 2% of base pay + 457(b) deferred compensation plan* Health insurance and malpractice coverage of $2M per claim/$6M aggregate* Compensation is 5% lower for physicians not yet board certified and adjusted upon certification---### **Group/Facility Info:*** Hospital-employed Urology practice serving a regional population of approximately 250,000* Practice located adjacent to the hospital campus in Portsmouth* 248 staffed-bed, not-for-profit medical center* More than 3,000 employees and 300+ medical staff* Established regional health system* Teaching environment with medical students, residents, and APP trainees* Practice emphasizes physician leadership, teamwork, and collaboration with clinical and administrative staff--### **About the Area:**Portsmouth is located along the Ohio River in southern Ohio, offering an affordable cost of living and a relaxed, small-city environment surrounded by the Appalachian foothills.
