Position Title: Instructional Designer

Reports To: Manager, Global Learning & Development – Training/Instructional Design
Location: Remote, EST Hours


Position Overview

As the organization continues to grow, we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join the Global Learning & Development team. This role is responsible for designing and developing engaging, interactive, and performance-based training programs for sales and technical audiences using a variety of delivery methods, including eLearning, virtual instructor-led training, and multimedia assets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interactive online learning programs aligned with global training strategies, regional needs, and product launch initiatives.
  • Create instructor-led training (ILT) materials, including facilitator guides, presentations, participant materials, checklists, and evaluations.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex information into effective, performance-based learning solutions.
  • Conduct learning needs assessments and analyze data to recommend appropriate instructional strategies.
  • Develop scripts, storyboards, and design documents from raw technical content.
  • Create assessments that align with defined learning objectives.
  • Develop digital and visual assets such as presentations, graphics, and course illustrations.
  • Maintain and update existing training materials to reflect product updates, software enhancements, and process changes.
  • Test and validate training content across learning platforms and delivery methods.
  • Present training materials to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final deliverables.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in instructional design, including:
    • Designing training programs across multiple delivery formats (eLearning, virtual classroom, mobile learning, video-based learning, etc.)
    • Applying adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies
    • Conducting needs analyses and developing learning objectives
    • Creating blended learning solutions and evaluation strategies
  • Proficiency with eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond, Captivate).
  • Experience with visual/graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong writing skills, including instructional content and script development.
  • Experience with video/audio editing and voiceover tools (including AI-based tools).
  • Strong visual design and storytelling abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and manage projects independently from concept through delivery.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to incorporate feedback.
  • Portfolio of prior work required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing technical or medical training content.
