The City of Berkeley invites you to apply for the position of Playground Leader Trainee (Non-Career) in the Parks, Recreation and Waterfront Department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist in leading children in recreation activities. During the school year, Playground Leader Trainees may be assigned to work Afterschool Programs, Special Events, and/or Building Monitoring.

During the summer, Playground Leader Trainees may be assigned to work Tots, Pre-K, or Teen programs, playground programs, Berkeley Day Camp or specialty camps, or youth sports.
