Job description

Maintenance Records Specialist

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Maintenance Records Specialist FULL-TIME Opportunity in McClellan Park, CA

  • Starting Pay: $25.00 - $32.00/hour
We’re hiring a Maintenance Records Specialist responsible for managing and maintaining accurate maintenance records across our operation. This role is key to ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies while supporting the maintenance team in the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.

Responsibilities 
  • Performs routine data entry functions, creates and prepares standard and recurring reports and obtains data from electronic systems as required
  • Manipulate and present data for management upon request
  • Perform routine analysis on aircraft records and documentation to ensure accuracy and proper completion  
  • Track information on specific tasks accomplished at base level (i.e. special service bulletin compliance, light fleet modifications)
  • Work with Supply Chain to identify components that require historical information prior to being sent out for service
  • Track component changes to ensure receipt of proper documentation to complete records
  • Pull aircraft records as requested by other departments
  • Maintain scanned records as required and distribute upon request
  • Receive and file aircraft logbook pages, component cards, and 8130s received into the Quality Control Department and verify accuracy
  • Review Engine, Airframe, and component records for accuracy and compliance as required

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of experience in a Part 135/145 maintenance operation
  • Valid State issued Driver's license 
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Knowledge of FARs under Part 135, Part 43, Part 91
  • Knowledge of Beechcraft and Airbus airworthiness limitations and maintenance programs
  • Must be proficient in a dynamic computerized working environment performing administrative tasks using Microsoft Office Suite programs, web-based maintenance management programs, and Enterprise Recourse Planning (ERP) systems.

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Two (2) years of experience in software and/or program testing
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
