HIGHLY CONSIDERED CANDIDATES MUST HAVE OPERATIONS & INSTALLATION MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN THE RESIDENTIAL HOME IMPROVEMENT INDUSTRY

Great Day Improvements LLC, an innovator and leader in the home remodeling market is currently seeking a driven and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of the Installation and Operations in our MID-ATLANTIC region. The region covers the VIRGINIA & MARYLAND markets and will continue to grow. Great Day Improvements is a vertically integrated company who designs, manufactures, sells and installs the Patio Enclosures™ sunroomproducts.

As a contributing member of our successful Management Team, the candidate will be charged with effectively and successfully managing the Installation/Operations of the three regional branches.

Responsibilities
  • Day to day Operations Management of multiple locations
  • Job and project management utilizing our in-house CRM system
  • Oversee implementation of our customer satisfaction process.
  • Responsible for job profitability, job costing, budgeting, etc.
  • Recruit, hire, and train teams based on capacity needs
  • Oversee performance of the teams and train them on proper procedures.
  • Evaluate and monitor performance and quality standards of sub-contractors.
  • Oversee training of proper installation procedures for all of company products.
  • Oversee and perform, if necessary, measures, breakouts and order materials accordingly.
  • Ensure that safety standards are reviewed and implemented.
  • Meet with customers to review difficult and/or complicated jobs or to solve difficult service problems.
  • Maintain a rolling 30-day installation schedul
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general management, preferably in the remodeling or residential construction industry.
  • P&L responsibility preferred.
  • Experienced in team building and management preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
  • Must be process oriented.
  • Excellent customer relations and problem solving skills are required.
  • Experience in dealing with multiple trades and sub-contractors.
  • Must be competent in the use of technology; experience with MS Excel a plus.
  • Must be able to travel (drive) to the all locations regularly

  • Purpose and Scope of Job:
  • The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation from contract to completion of project. The OM position will oversee a Region consisting of multiple locations – with two direct reports in each location, the Operation Administrator and the Installation Field Supervisor, this position maintains the communication with our customer throughout the project and is responsible for the profitability of the project. Oversees and is a part of obtaining permits, ordering, managing and scheduling subcontractors, and all scheduling of projects. With Regional Manager, is responsible for planning revenue/profitability and meeting those monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets. They review difficult jobs, and ensure that all jobs are installed in accordance within company guidelines of quality and profitability. Responsible for meeting with customer to review difficult, complicated jobs and address customer concerns. They are responsible for the hiring and training of the installation team.
