Anderson Farms is looking for Seasonal Yard Team Members for our Fall Festival!

Yard Team Members help keep Anderson Farms clean, safe, and operating smoothly throughout the Fall Festival. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and taking pride in maintaining the appearance and functionality of the farm's attractions and grounds.

No two days are the same! Yard Team Members work throughout the farm assisting with attractions, grounds maintenance, guest needs, and general upkeep to ensure every guest has a safe and enjoyable experience.

Seasonal Yard opportunities for our Fall Festival include:

  • Paint A Pumpkin: Saturday and Sunday only. Sell pumpkins to be painted by guests and supply guests with paint and brushes. Set up and clean-up of painting supplies.
  • Party Pavilion Attendant: Saturday and Sunday only. Maintain party pavilions including set up and clean up. Greet guests who reserved pavilion and assist with bringing party supplies to pavilions. Check in on pavilion groups periodically to ensure they have what they need.
  • Yard Staff: There are multiple positions the yard staff will rotate through. Including:
    • Animal Attendant: Clean animal pens, engage with customers, engage with animals and ensure their safety and well-being.
    • Barrel Train Driver: Drive the Barrel Train while ensuring fun and safety of the guests riding. Must have a driver's license or be 18 years of age.
    • Gate Greeter: Welcoming guests to the farm. Making sure people have their wristbands on and scan the wristbands as guests arrive.
    • Grounds Crew: Keep the grounds looking nice, including trash pickup, cleaning restrooms, removal of bad pumpkins from displays, etc.
    • Exit Gate: Thank guests as they exit. Make sure guests have paid for their pumpkins and other merchandise. Mark wristbands for re-entry.
    • Jump Pads Attendant: Ensure the safety of guests and that they are informed of and following the rules.
    • Tricycle Attendant: Greet and inform guests of Trike rules. Monitor track for safety and that guests are following rules.
    • Wheelbarrow Pick-Up Crew: Collect wheelbarrows from parking lot with the gator and trailer and unload into wheelbarrow corral. Must have a driver's license or at least 18 years of age to drive gators.
    • Entertainment Team: Supports the operation of our interactive attractions, including Paintball Gallery and Escape Rooms. Including setting up and resetting games, explaining rules and safety guidelines.
    • Pumpkin Cannon/ Tennis Ball Cannons: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Entertain guests and fire the pumpkin cannon. Ensure the safety of guests. Continual safety checks of equipment. Sell buckets of tennis balls for the tennis ball cannons. Load buckets of tennis balls. Collect/ clean up tennis balls that have been shot.
    • Campfire Attendant: Thursday- Sundays only. Prep and start reserved campfires for guests. Ensure safety of guests. Frequently check on campfire reservations, refill wood supply as need. Must be friendly and interact with guests.
    • Pumpkins/ Crop Picking: Pick pumpkins and other crops to be sold and to decorate the yard.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Inspecting attractions and guest areas throughout the day to ensure they are clean, safe, and operating properly.

Performing general grounds maintenance, including trash removal, sweeping, raking, cleaning, and maintaining walkways and common areas.

Assisting with the setup, maintenance, and closing of attractions.

Restocking supplies and equipment as needed throughout the farm.

Monitoring attractions and reporting maintenance or safety concerns to a manager.

Assisting guests by answering questions and providing friendly customer service.

Responding to changing priorities and helping wherever needed to keep farm operations running efficiently.

Working as part of a team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

This position requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, walk and stand for extended periods, lift and carry equipment or supplies, and perform physically active work throughout the day.
