Best-One Tire & AutoCare is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy-Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our commercial service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial trucks and trailers both in-shop and on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with diesel engines and trailer systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.


Key ResponsibilitiesTruck & Trailer Maintenance
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, steering, and suspension.
  • Conduct alignments, welding, and metal fabrication as needed.
  • Inspect and service trailer components including tires, hubs, axles, and hydraulic systems.
  • Execute preventative maintenance services and DOT inspections.
Road Service & Fleet Support
  • Operate heavy-duty service trucks and tools for mobile repairs.
  • Respond to emergency roadside service calls and perform on-site repairs.
  • Conduct fleet inspections and communicate mechanical needs to service and sales teams.
Shop Operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Safely operate diagnostic equipment, lifts, jacks, and power tools.
  • Document services performed and submit reports to management.
