Job description

Trailer Mechanic

Walton, KY

If you're a trailer mechanic who knows how to keep equipment rolling, we've got a solid shop with steady hours, good pay, and plenty of work.

This is an in-shop position working mostly on dry vans, flatbeds, and step decks. About 90% of the work is trailers. The truck side is limited to basic bolt-on repairs, so you'll spend your day doing what you do best.

What You'll Be Working On

  • PM services and inspections
  • Brake, suspension, wheel end, axle, and air system repairs
  • 12V electrical diagnostics and repairs
  • Light welding and fabrication
  • Parts replacement and trailer repairs
  • Installing toolboxes, ramp kits, and other trailer accessories
  • Prepping sold trailers before they head out the door

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of trailer or heavy truck mechanic experience
  • Trailer repair experience is preferred
  • Heavy truck experience is welcome
  • No automotive backgrounds
  • CDL is a plus, but not required
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in quality work

Pay & Schedule

  • Monday-Friday
  • 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
  • No weekend schedule
