Job description

Trailer Hauler

A global manufacturing company is seeking a **Trailer Hauler/Shop Hand **for their Ypsilanti location.

What you’ll be doing as a Trailer Hauler

  • Operate a pickup truck with a 20ft open trailer to deliver and pick up parts from vendors
  • Drive an average of 3–4 hours daily to support delivery and pickup routes
  • Assist with fabrication tasks an average of 3–4 hours daily using saws and grinders to cut and finish materials
  • Perform routine preventative and basic maintenance on equipment
  • Unload steel and move materials using overhead cranes and forklifts; maintain clean, organized work areas

What you’ll need to succeed as a Trailer Hauler

- 1 year of experience operating trucks with trailers (not box trucks)

Skilled in reading blueprints and cutting materials to length in a shop setting

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Strong understanding of shop safety and material handling procedures
  • HS diploma or equivalent
