Job description

Job Overview:
Looking for a Refrigerant Trailer Mechanic Technician specializing in Carrier and Thermo-king  that can perform multiple tasks related to preventative maintenance and repairs of heavy duty trucks.  You are responsible for using hand tools, measuring tools, and power tools to make quality repairs, installments and maintaining of equipment parts and components of the the following: Dry Vans, Reefer, Flatbeds, Truck Bodies, and specialty Trailer. 
Job Responsibilities:
*Inspect, Trouble Shoot, Diagnose and perform quality maintenance and repairs of trailers
*Build, Rebuild, and repair of trailer equipment to specifications as assigned.
*Read and understand job orders ensuring corrective action and documentation of repair processes to company standards.
*Assist other mechanic technicians on service orders and jobs requiring assistance.
*Provide excellent customer service to communicate with customers and vendors and effectively resolve issues.
Qualifications:
*Ability to work with hands to use tools and work on mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance task by service managers instructions.
*Ability to install the following parts, Cross members, panels, posts, rails, doors, flooring, lights, wiring, brakes, valves, airlines, wheel end components, Landing Gear, Frame assembly, refer repair and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
*Ability to examine trailer parts and safety devices looking for damage, excessive wear, and structural deficiencies on all trailers.
* Must furnish own tools.
