Royal South Toyota Mazda Volvo is looking for Lube Rack Techs to join our team in Bloomington, Indiana. We prefer the right candidate to come in with good experience but we are also willing to train the right candidate. If you have taken automotive repair classes and want to make a career in this field, we offer a great place to be! Your pay will be based on your experience. We will pay you more on the hour as you progress in training and production. We want you to become a Master Technician with us here at Royal South. This will be a full-time hourly position responsible for executing light preventive & scheduled maintenance services on customer vehicles. You will be required to come to work at your scheduled time, pay attention to detail, learn quickly, and effectively service vehicles. If you want to become a factory trained technician in the automotive industry, we have the resources and traffic for you. You will be responsible for your work area cleanliness and helping the shop stay neat & organized whenever time permits. Our traffic continues to grow so the opportunity is here! Responsibilities & Possible Duties
-Perform lube, oil and filter services on customer vehicles using manufacturer appropriate practices and process.
-Perform tire services including tire rotation, repair, & tire balancing.
-Perform minor vehicle maintenance services, such as air and cabin filter replacement.
-Test and inspect vehicles to identify any potential problems or repairs needed.
-Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer, dealership and governmental standards.
-Communicate clearly & respectfully with customers and fellow team members.
-Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
-Staying on task and productive no matter the current work flow.
