Competences :

  • Maitrise de l'anglais (passif) et du francais (actif) a un niveau professionnel.
  • Maitrise en traduction ou en traductologie, reconnaissance par une association ou ordre professionnel de traductrices et de traducteurs reconnue par l'Ecolepour la combinaison de transfert de anglais vers le francais, ou de l'experienceprofessionnelle et universitaire equivalente.
  • Grande experience professionnelle en traduction administrative de l'anglais vers le francais, de preference au Canada(par exemple, au gouvernement federal ou provincial).
  • Bonnes connaissances conceptuelles et terminologiques, une bonne maitrise des conventions textuelles et de l'experience en traduction professionnelle administrative, de preference dans le secteur public.
  • Bonne maitrise des conventions de redaction et de traduction du secteur public (par exemple, du gouvernement federal ou provincial).
  • De l'experienceen enseignement au niveau universitaire est un atout.

Taches :

  • Donner des cours et gerer des activites en classe et des evaluations principalement en francais, de temps en temps en anglais.
  • Creer et entretenir un site pour le cours dans le systeme de gestion de l'apprentissage de l'universite.
  • Choisir des textes source qui conviennent au niveau des etudiantes et des etudiants et aux objectifs d'apprentissage du cours.
  • Integrer du contenu theorique, conceptuel et terminologique et des conventions du domaine a la formation en traduction.
  • Fournir une retroaction detaillee sur des exercices et des evaluations en traduction afin d'aider les etudiantes et les etudiants a developper leurs competences en traduction et en analyse critique.
  • Integrer dans les cours des discussions d'outils informatiques pertinents, ou des exercices dans lesquels on les utilise, a l'aide d'outils et de ressources fournies par l'Ecole.
  • Travailler avec la Direction ou avec le responsable du programme et avec les collegues pour assurer la coherence du programme et ses objectifs d'apprentissage, tout en preservant la liberte academique.
