Our team is looking for Software Engineers with experience building high-performance trading systems. As a Software Engineer, you will help establish technical standards and be a significant contributor to the technical architecture and engineering practices of our teams. You will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with Belvedere Quants and Software Engineers to tackle challenges in programming, technology, mathematics, and finance by building high-quality, performant, architecturally sound systems that are aligned with our business goals. We are looking for individuals who will be able to solve difficult technical problems in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable, extensible trading applications, and deploy successful enterprise-level applications that can be leveraged across a variety of asset classes
  • Maintain, support and troubleshoot real-time critical trading applications
  • Work with team members to ensure that our software meets requirements and is testable
  • Analyze and solve complex technical problems
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our development process and reduce operational risk
  • Apply industry knowledge and technical skills in new and innovative ways
  • Encourage the use of best practices throughout the development process
  • Participate in code review

What You'll Need
  • 6+ years of software development experience
  • Solid working experience in modern C++
  • Applies and holds high-quality standard for code and design
  • Experience building high performance, highly available, and scalable systems
  • Well versed in all areas of delivering technical solutions
  • Shows ownership through entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to take full ownership (design, implement, test, deploy, maintain, iterate) of projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to coach junior engineers in addition to teaching and learning from peers

Nice to Have
