On-site in South Pittsburg, TN.Hours: Hours and schedule are flexible within normal business hours, depending on project needs.Reports to: Marketing ManagerSummary/Objective The Marketing Intern is responsible for the creation of marketing materials including graphics, maintaining company social media, trade show preparation, and maintaining database information. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Marketing graphics for:Artwork for trade show booth designs and other trade show artwork needsEmail MarketingWebsite blogs, articlesSocial media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, LinkTree), etc.Sample kits and formulation labelsBusiness cards and employee photosInternal marketing: webinars, TV's, publications, news, blogs, product launches with highlights and winsBrochures & literatureMaintaining Colonial's mailing list for marketing campaigns.Assist with Colonial's sample kit system: messaging, graphics, giveaways, packaging & shipping etc.Work with Colonial Applications Lab to promote new products.Work with UL Prospector contacts to keep documents up to date for the Personal Care industry.Assist in gathering and interpreting marketing analytics after marketing activities such as advertisements, e-mail blasts, podcasts, etc.Assist with Trade show preparation Required QualificationsJunior or Senior level University student majoring in Marketing or related field.Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.Junior level graphic design Preferred QualificationsProficiency in full Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, as well as Adobe Creative Cloud, with a focus in Photoshop, InDesign and IllustratorAudio and video recording and editing experience. About Colonial ChemicalColonial Chemical is a manufacturer of specialty chemicals and surfactants, with an emphasis on environmentally friendly products.
