JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
POET is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Trade Fulfillment Supervisor with a genuine passion for people and operational excellence. This leader will oversee and continuously optimize the communication channels between accounting, marketing, planning, and logistics, ensuring seamless coordination across all trade related activities. They will ensure the accurate and timely execution of trades and transactions, uphold rigorous financial controls, and maintain balanced exchange and trade positions across all platforms.
This is an on-site role located in Wichita, KS.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as a key resource and coordination point. Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to team members, ensuring smooth operations and helping staff navigate questions, obstacles, and decision points.
  • Identify, lead, and support process improvements. Drive initiatives that enhance systems and workflows, collaborating across teams while empowering staff to contribute ideas and take ownership of improvements.
  • Oversee the end-to-end workflow for transaction and trade execution-from entry through final settlement-ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of required financial controls and regulatory obligations, ensuring they are consistently applied throughout the order execution process.
  • Interpret and communicate the economic intent behind trades and transactions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and decision-making.
  • Challenge existing processes by identifying opportunities for value creation, driving continuous improvement, and promoting efficiencies across teams.
  • Demonstrate adaptability by taking on additional tasks or supporting other functional areas as needed, contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Set clear expectations and foster a culture of trust, teamwork, and individual accountability through positive influence.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in the area of accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years working in an accounting or finance role
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, mentoring, coaching and developing teams
