An AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work with nationally and internationally recognized brands on sophisticated trademark, advertising, and intellectual property matters within a collaborative and rapidly growing platform.

The firm is seeking a motivated associate attorney with strong trademark and advertising experience who is interested in handling complex brand protection and advertising matters for large brand owners across a broad range of industries.

The Role

Associates in this position may work on matters involving:

  • Trademark clearance and prosecution
  • Trademark enforcement and portfolio management
  • Advertising claims review and compliance
  • Labeling and marketing compliance matters
  • Trademark and advertising disputes
  • Brand protection and intellectual property strategy
  • Domestic and international trademark matters
  • General intellectual property counseling for sophisticated brand clients

Attorneys will work closely with major national and international brands on strategic intellectual property and advertising matters.

Ideal Background
  • 4–7 years of trademark and advertising law experience
  • Experience representing large brand owners preferred
  • Strong experience with trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement
  • Experience handling advertising review and compliance matters
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials required
  • Texas Bar admission required or ability to waive in
