Job description

About Us
Vivazen launched with a disruptive idea: that a small, plant-powered shot could outperform the synthetic stimulants dominating convenience counters. Over a decade later, we've not only proven it-we've defined the category. As the original brand to bring kratom-based products to market, we've since expanded into a powerful portfolio of clean, effective botanical blends-with more than 700 million servings sold nationwide.
Retailers rely on Vivazen to drive real revenue in minimal space. Consumers trust us for fast-acting, feel-good energy they can count on. And behind it all is a business built for speed, ownership, and performance.
At Vivazen, you won't wait for permission or promotion. From day one, you'll run a real territory with clear goals, visible numbers, and the support to win. As we enter a new phase of rapid growth, we're building a team that's as ambitious as the opportunity. If you're motivated by autonomy, accountability, and upward mobility-and you want to help shape the future of natural performance-you'll go far at Vivazen.
WHO YOU ARE
As the Regional Sales Manager (Southeast), you will be responsible for leading and growing Vivazen's business across Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. You will drive revenue growth by expanding distribution, increasing volume, strengthening distributor partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities.
This role requires a strategic operator who can balance big-picture market planning with hands-on field execution. You will work closely with distributors, independent sales partners, retailers, and internal stakeholders to build sustainable growth across the region while ensuring strong execution at every level of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive revenue growth across the Southeast region including, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina, through increased distribution, volume gains, and improved retail execution.
  • Expand Vivazen's presence with wholesalers, distributors, sub-distributors, DSD networks, and independent retailers.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, distributor partnerships, and emerging market channels throughout the Southeast.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor leadership teams, sales representatives, and key retail accounts.
  • Evaluate distributor performance and implement plans to improve execution, distribution coverage, and sales results.
  • Conduct regular market visits, ride-alongs, and account calls to support field execution and identify growth opportunities.
  • Analyze sales trends, SKU performance, and market data to develop territory growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial Leadership, and Consumer Insights teams to align regional initiatives and maximize impact.
  • Execute trade marketing programs, promotions, and merchandising initiatives to increase visibility and drive consumer demand.
  • Manage regional budgets and investments with a focus on delivering measurable revenue growth and ROI.
  • Communicate market insights, competitive activity, and business performance to leadership through clear, data-driven reporting.
  • Represent Vivazen at distributor meetings, industry events, trade shows, and retailer engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of sales experience in CPG, beverage, tobacco, supplements, spirits, or other highly competitive consumer categories.
  • Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, DSD networks, and independent retail channels.
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue and expanding distribution within a multi-state territory.
  • Strong understanding of territory management, sales planning, and distributor performance management.
  • Experience analyzing sales data and translating insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Proven ability to influence partners and drive accountability across teams without direct reporting authority.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the Southeast region.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience in age-restricted or regulated product categories.
  • Startup, emerging brand, or high-growth company experience.
  • Experience launching products or expanding distribution into new markets.
  • Prior responsibility for regional budgets, trade spending, or P&L management.
  • Experience leading field teams, brokers, or independent sales organizations.

COMPENSATION
An aggressive base salary will be provided in this position, with an additional lucrative bonus plan based on performance. Full medical benefits are provided as part of this role. Options/equity will be provided to suitable candidates after completion of the first 90 days. This role also provides the opportunity for advancement in role, function, and pay.
