Their work helps companies identify opportunities for savings, reduce delays, and improve overall logistics performance on key shipping routes.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a trade lane analyst?

To thrive as a Trade Lane Analyst, you need strong analytical skills, knowledge of international trade regulations, and typically a degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), data analysis tools like Excel or Tableau, and relevant certifications such as APICS or CSCMP are commonly required. Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail set outstanding candidates apart in this role.
