Responsibilities

Howย youโ€™llย make an impactย inย this roleย 

  • Responsible for applying protective andย decorative coatings (paint, varnish, lacquer) to interior and exterior surfaces. This includes preparing surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, or smoothing, as well as installing, repairing, andย maintainingย drywall, wall texturing, and vinyl/acoustic wall coverings.ย 
  • Maintainsย existing paint surfaces by matching/tinting paint products, inspects the quality of all applications to ensure customer satisfaction, and determinesย appropriate colorsย through customer consultation.ย 
  • Safelyย operatesย and maintains various equipment, including compressors, striping machines, sandblasters, spray equipment, and heavy lift equipment (scissors/boom stage up to 80 feet). This also involves following Standard Precautions,ย maintainingย a clean and safe work area, and properly disposing of hazardous materials.ย 
  • Erectsย scaffolding, staging, ladders, and planks as needed. Also creates and applies graphics and signage layouts, ensuring compliance with DOT, Safety, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.ย 
  • Dedicates aย portionย of time to special projects, including assisting with assigned tasks, providingย additionalย support and training to team members in basic paint trade practices, andย participatingย in meetings, workshops, and training.ย
