How you will contribute:
The candidate will learn pre-fabrication/welding processes and assist welders/fabricators with grinding pipe, loading trucks, heat treating, hydro testing, acid washing, material distribution, and operating a forklift, SkyTrak, and/or tractor.
What you need to qualify:
Metal Trades Fabricator applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must meet the required norms on an aptitude test. Candidates must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and crouch throughout a 10-hour shift, and be able to effectively read and use measuring devices. Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work in a team environment. You can stand out above other candidates by having a positive attitude, possessing excellent problem-solving skills, and being able to perform duties safely and effectively in a fast-paced work environment that will be loud at times. Safety regulations must be followed at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, hand, knee, and foot protection).
