What does a trade helper do?

They often work in construction, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC environments and may need basic safety training or certifications. Their role helps ensure projects progress efficiently and safely.

What does a typical day look like for a Trade Helper on a job site?

A typical day for a Trade Helper involves assisting skilled tradespeople by preparing materials, cleaning and organizing the work area, moving equipment, and sometimes performing basic repairs or measurements under supervision. You may work both indoors and outdoors, often in a team setting, and need to adjust to changing tasks as projects progress. Physical activity is common, and there's a strong emphasis on safety procedures and clear communication with crew members. This hands-on experience helps Trade Helpers gain valuable skills and can open up opportunities to advance into specialized trades over time.

What jobs make $10,000 a month without a degree?

Is 25 too old to start a trade?

Trade helpers can start their careers at any age, including 25, as many trades value skills, experience, and training over age. Entry often involves apprenticeships or certifications, which are accessible to adults, making age less of a barrier than in other fields.
