Job Summary:
SourcePro Search is conducting a search for a highly motivated and hands-on Trade Support & Quality Assurance Analyst to join a Trading Operations Team in Miami, FL. This role involves providing technical and trade execution support, facilitating problem resolution for traders, and ensuring smooth daily operations in a dynamic trading environment.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Supporting real-time trading services to on-floor options members on the Exchange to ensure superior customer service and adherence to regulatory standards.
โ€ข Processing member requests for local networking and desktop support.
โ€ข Facilitating solutions for firm technologists and external vendor requests.
โ€ข Interacting directly with trading floor members and member firmsโ€™ trading desks to provide all operational support.
โ€ข Coordinating member firmsโ€™ technical staff for firm configurations of trading sessions and networking connectivity.
โ€ข Maintaining and completing all daily Exchange Operations.
โ€ข Ensuring all software issues are reported and handled efficiently per the Exchange software defect remediation process.
โ€ข Developing and performing application certification with external clients to ensure smooth transition of new features being enabled in the production environment.
โ€ข Providing timely resolution of technical and user-specific issues and requests.
โ€ข Engaging in continuous process evaluation and improvement.
โ€ข Assisting Trading Operations Department Manager with Industry-based calls.
โ€ข Maintaining knowledge of Industry trends and their impact on trade support.
โ€ข The candidate must demonstrate the ability to proactively participate in the end-to-end system testing process within a fast-paced trading environment.
โ€ข Candidates are required to develop a deep understanding of Business System Requirement documents and translate these concepts into automated production test scenarios.
โ€ข Participating in the Exchange Quality Assurance program.
โ€ข Developing, authoring and troubleshooting comprehensive test scenarios which are validated against the testing system.
โ€ข Proactively participating in the review of business requirements for the purpose of developing test case scenarios that ensure complete test coverage of application functionality.
โ€ข Participating in all aspects of a full-lifecycle development methodology.
โ€ข Troubleshooting technical and functional issues based on Exchange Rules and system design.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, IT/Computer Science or a related field.
โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
โ€ข Strong team based and customer facing verbal and written communication skills are a must.
โ€ข Effective analytical and problem solving skills.
โ€ข Required to be a self-motivated, patient, dynamic, organized and responsible team player.
โ€ข Function at a high level and prioritize critical tasks in a dynamically changing environment.
โ€ข Possess a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
โ€ข Must have the capacity to thoroughly understand the Software Quality Assurance testing process and best practices.
โ€ข Must possess the aptitude for automated testing of a platform in an integrated testing environment, as well as testing user-interface and transaction-processing systems.
Preferred:
โ€ข Knowledge/prior use of JIRA tracking software is recommended.
โ€ข Options and/or equities industry background is recommended.
โ€ข Experience testing trade execution systems at an exchange or for an ECN/ATS is recommended.
