Job description

Position: Large Forklift Operator
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Shift: To be discussed
Location: Hammond, IN
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Large Forklift Operator to start IMMEDIATELY at $22.00/hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!
Responsibilities
  • Assist with shipping and receiving, unload trucks, and check in merchandise
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to organizational standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean warehouse environment by keeping the pallet area and workstations tidy; sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed
  • Wear proper safety equipment at all times
  • Support warehouse organization and other duties as directed by supervisors

Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of warehouse experience in shipping and receiving
  • 3+ years of forklift operation experience
  • Forklift certification required, with experience on sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, and reach trucks
  • Experience handling carbon and stainless steel pipe is a plus
  • Ability to work self-directed and as part of a team with a strong work ethic
  • Must pass background check and drug test
  • Able to lift objects weighing 10-50 lbs regularly and occasionally over 100 lbs
  • Comfortable standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling during shifts
