The Residence Place St-Moritz, located in Ville St-Laurent between 15 and 40, is looking for a man or woman to be responsible for maintenance. This person has the ability to manage, direct, and independently carry out the necessary work to maintain the housing, buildings, and grounds. You are very well organized, resourceful, and enjoy solving all kinds of problems with a smile. Experience in a seniors' residence is absolutely essential. English speaking welcome (with French comprehension) Requirements: DEP in general building maintenance, electricity, plumbing or equivalent 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in residential building maintenance and upkeep as well as personnel management Ability to do physical work and lift heavy loads Experience operating a small tractor (moving waste containers) Leadership and supervisory capacity Good judgment and problem-solving skills Customer service orientation Availability for emergencies and flexibility in terms of schedules (weekends according to the rotation established with the management team in place) Responsibilities: Main speaker on the Fire Safety Plan Respond to various service calls and perform general maintenance (preparation) work in the apartments; Supervise department employees (schedule/tasks); Manage emergencies (water damage, machinery breakdown, etc.); Take inventory of materials and manage suppliers and subcontractors; Pool maintenance Carry out general maintenance work and work required in the interior and exterior common areas of the residence; Contribute to the safety and well-being of residents.
