POSITION SUMMARY

• Diagnose and repair all aspects of class 8 tractors including but not limited to Volvo and Mack

• Keep a clean and neat work area

• Continue to keep up to date on tractor repair procedures

• Assist each other with a team attitude

• Work on truck in and out of shop atmosphere (road calls)

• Handle driver concerns with a team attitude

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Diagnose and repair class 8 truck problems

• Diagnose and repair APU problem

• Diagnose and repair Hydraulic problem

• Charge out parts as needed

• Tag parts for warranty and cores as needed

• Write repair stories for warranty and all other repairs

• Operate computer systems

• Operate forklift and other company vehicles

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep work area clean and neat

• Handle driver concerns with a team attitude

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Mechanical skills and/or experience repairing class 8 trucks

• Own tools air and pneumatic

• Able to operate equipment safely in a shop environment

• Computer skills on Diagnoses software

• Lift, pull, push, and carry over 50 lbs.
