Job description

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the final assembly and quality testing for completed tanks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Hydro test tank
  • Fit and install trays and tools boxes
  • Install Bumpers
  • Fully upfit a tank based on production needs.
  • Install sill-boards
  • Clean and inspect
  • Housekeeping in shop
  • Clock in/out correctly on job time sheets
  • Stay within production timelines established
  • Attendance
  • Probationary period and eval for first 30 days
  • Needs to have personal tools on list
  • Ability to read print and follow instructions
  • Follow guidelines for quality control
  • Adhere to all safety protocols
  • Work with the team to accomplish goals
  • Other duties as assigned and as needed
QUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and/or responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES include, but are not limited to the following.
  • Ability to schedule work load and material efficiency.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
  • Familiar with 5S method of processing.
  • Complete understanding of fabrication mathematics.
  • Ability to measure and verify dimensions using various measuring devices: tape measure, caliper, machinist square, pro-tractor.

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
