Laser Tracker Technician, San Diego, CA, $28.00โ€“$34.00 per hour (Direct hire role)
Ready to take your dimensional inspection skills to a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer? Join an established, fast-moving organization where your metrology expertise will directly support high-priority programs. This team offers a 9/80 schedule, flexible early start times, and the chance to work with advanced tools like FARO and Verisurf in a highly technical environment.
Who you are:
  • 2-5+ years of Laser Tracker skills; will consider 1+ year with strong Laser Tracker skills.
  • Hands-on experience with dimensional inspection equipment such as FARO, Verisurf, and/or Laser Trackers (certification preferred but not required).
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced aerospace/defense setting.
  • Comfortable reading blueprints, drawings, and part lists; capable of resolving standard assignments independently.
What youโ€™ll do:
  • Perform dimensional inspections on products, materials, and components to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate parts, assemblies, and systems using metrology equipment.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and documentation; support corrective action activities.
  • Conduct internal audits and help build/prepare special test panels as needed.
