Job description

We are hiring for multiple open Expert Product Line Manager, Racing and Track & Field Footwear positions!
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will report to the Product Director and collaborate closely with Product Design, Tech Development & Innovation to build industry-defining footwear. You'll shape compelling stories through Color, Materials, and Graphics and collaborate closely with Merchandising, Sports Marketing, Brand, Planning, Sourcing and Finance to bring breakthrough Racing and Track & Field Footwear to Athletes and Consumers across the world.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're seeking a leader who is passionate about both Running and Footwear to champion Nike's Racing and Track & Field businesses and elevate them to new heights. This person will operate as a connector across multiple teams, driving the creation and expression of our most innovative, high-performance solutions in the industry, while also delivering a compelling retail offering that resonates with consumers and supports athletes at their most critical moments.
In this fast paced and dynamic role, you'll need to balance competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and lead a high-impact business that influences models across the enterprise. We're looking for someone with proven product creation experience, a strong understanding of the seasonal calendar, and the ability to craft EPIC footwear that will take the industry to new heights.
This individual will need to bring a deep understanding of athlete needs, competitive trends, and the broader running landscape. You're authentic, curious, and driven by the possibility of unlocking the next athlete breakthrough in Nike Racing and Track & Field. Strong organization, collaboration, and storytelling skills are essential - you'll lead cross-functional teams and translate complexity into clarity through compelling presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Business, Marketing, Merchandising or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training
  • A minimum of 8 years directly relevant work experience
  • Additional experience in footwear or product creation role and deep understanding of the product creation process
  • Strong connection to Footwear from both the Sport and Cultural lens
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the competitor landscape and overall Running industry
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate, lead and influence your project team and cross functional partners
  • Excellent business management experience, analytical proficiency and understanding of retail math, with experience in Excel/Keynote/Miro/MMX
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You'll lead the daily work of a cross-functional team - design, development, innovation, sports marketing, brand and merchandising - through the full footwear creation process from brief to box. You'll drive the Create and Expression process, ensuring collaboration moments are productive, aligned and on time. These moments include product briefs, team feedback sessions, design reviews, testing checkpoints, and more. You'll maintain accuracy across systems, manage samples, and provide clear communication to guide teams through critical milestones.
You'll shape product strategy and consumer insights by analyzing market trends, studying the competitive landscape, and gathering athlete feedback through multiple methods. You'll turn these learnings into actionable direction that fuels innovation and sharpens product execution. You'll build out the future roadmap for Racing and Track & Field in partnership with the Director to keep Nike at the forefoot of the Sport.
You'll also serve as a key liaison between innovation and inline teams - ensuring knowledge transfer, alignment, and clarity from concept through commercialization. You'll influence partners and key stakeholders at pivotal moments, championing product stories and driving decisions that bring Racing and Track & Field footwear to life.
We offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed.
