Ross Local School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Track & Field Assistant Coach. This individual will assist the head coach in developing and implementing a successful track and field program that promotes athletic skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic success.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and conducting practices and competitions
  • Support student-athlete development in track and field events
  • Promote good sportsmanship and positive team culture
  • Assist with supervision of student-athletes during practices, meets, and team activities
  • Follow all district, conference, and state athletic policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director

Qualifications
  • Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, parents, and staff
  • Must meet all Ohio coaching certification and background check requirements
