Assistant Swim Team Coach
Qualifications:
  • Background and knowledge in competitive aquatics
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to work with and motivate swimmers at practices and meets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with Head Coach, swimmers, parents and YMCA staff
  • Current YMCA v6 lifeguard, BLS, BFA, Emergency Oxygen Administration, other certifications as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend regular practices as scheduled by head coach.
  • Approximately 6-10 hours a week
  • Attend YMCA dual meets as needed
  • Assist Head Coach in planning swim meet and other team activities
  • Other duties as directed by the Head Coach

Starting Wage:
  • $11.00-$12.00/hr - commensurate with experience
