Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofer with 5+ years of commercial roofing experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, standing seam metal roofing, and modified bitumen (Mod Bit). This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a commercial roofing crew.


Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, replace, and maintain commercial roofing systems.
  • Perform work on TPO, metal roofing, and modified bitumen (Mod Bit) roof systems.
  • Install insulation, flashing, edge metal, coping, and roof accessories.
  • Conduct roof inspections and identify leaks or damaged roofing materials.
  • Remove and replace existing roofing systems as needed.
  • Operate roofing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Read and follow project plans, specifications, and manufacturer installation requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while following OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Work effectively with foremen, supervisors, and other crew members to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial roofing experience required.
  • Proven experience with:
  • TPO roofing systems
  • Standing seam/metal roofing
  • Modified Bitumen (Mod Bit) roofing
  • Experience with commercial roof repairs, replacements, and new construction.
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
  • Familiarity with roofing hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with additional commercial roofing systems such as PVC, EPDM, BUR, or roof coatings.
  • Experience installing sheet metal flashing, coping, gutters, and trim.
  • Ability to identify roofing deficiencies and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
