Responsibilities

As a Finance Manager, you'll play a critical role in creating an outstanding ownership experience while helping drive dealership profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide customers through financing and lease options while securing appropriate lender approvals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and lending partners
  • Present finance, protection, warranty, GAP, and aftermarket products with confidence and professionalism
  • Ensure all transactions are completed accurately, legally, and ethically
  • Achieve departmental goals for finance income, product penetration, and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and submit all required federal, state, and dealership documentation in a timely manner
  • Enhance the customer experience by creating a transparent and efficient purchasing process
  • Monitor performance metrics and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Recruit, coach, and develop F&I team members as needed
  • Partner with sales and management teams to create a seamless customer experience
  • Demonstrate Group 1 Automotive's core values of integrity, transparency, professionalism, teamwork, and respect

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of successful automotive Finance & Insurance experience
  • F&I Manager experience preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving profitability and customer satisfaction goals
  • Strong understanding of automotive lending, compliance, and dealership finance processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • High-energy personality with a positive, professional attitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
