We're currently seeking a skilled and passionate Main Line Automotive Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and safety of our clients' vehicles.

Job Overview: As a Main Line Automotive Technician with Royal Moore Toyota, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest industry standards. You'll work on a wide range of vehicles, diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that every vehicle leaving our service area is in optimal condition, providing our customers with a safe and reliable driving experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of automotive maintenance and repair tasks, including engine diagnostics, brake inspections, fluid changes, tire rotations, and more.
  • Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and address potential safety concerns and maintenance needs.
  • Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations clearly and provide accurate estimates.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and advancements through ongoing training and development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed on each vehicle.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet daily service targets while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited automotive technology program is preferred.
  • 2+ years of proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • ASE certifications or relevant manufacturer certifications are a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of automotive systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
