Marketing & Social Media Manager - Toys & Sports Products

Our team's mission is to revolutionize the retail landscape, both online and in-store, by leveraging iconic brands with licensed character-driven content. If you're a big kid at heart and have a flair for thinking outside the box, especially when it comes to toys and sports products, we want you to join our team.
In this fast-paced environment, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s presence across key social media platforms, engaging with both consumers and influencers. As part of a collaborative team, you'll work closely with our Marketing Manager and VP of New Business Development to help grow our social media presence and influence. Your responsibility will be to foster community engagement, oversee exclusive toy reviewer relationships, and ensure that our social media platforms are buzzing with exciting, meaningful content.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media & Community Management: Develop, execute, and manage engaging social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more.
  • Campaign Strategy & Content: Collaborate with the sales team to produce content that resonates with audiences, while staying on-brand for some of the world’s most beloved toy and sports brands.
  • Influencer & Toy Reviewer Management: Grow, support, and moderate relationships with exclusive toy reviewers and social media influencers. Create a community environment that encourages positive, helpful engagement.
  • Digital Engagement & Analytics: Track and measure campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to provide actionable recommendations for optimizing future campaigns.
  • Creative Content Development: Work on brainstorming and executing ideas for campaigns, promotions, and product launches that will resonate with both kids and adults alike.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Business Development, and Product, to align efforts and ensure campaigns meet business objectives.
  • Marketing Insights: Proactively share market insights, trends, and competitive intelligence that will help shape content strategies and overall marketing efforts.
Qualifications:

  • Experience in Marketing or Social Media (1+ years): Previous experience in a marketing, writing, or content creation role, with a focus on social media platforms.
  • Client-Facing Digital Experience: Experience with digital content, influencer management, interactive campaigns, or paid social media advertising.
  • Editorial Style Guide Experience: Proven ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent voice across social media platforms.
  • Digital Analytics: Familiarity with platforms such as Google Analytics to measure, track, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Customer Service & Email Marketing: Experience in customer interaction and email marketing campaigns, with an understanding of how these impact brand engagement and sales.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Creative Thinking: A proven ability to think outside the box, with experience generating creative content ideas and campaigns that drive engagement.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (preferred), PowerPoint, and social media scheduling tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and external partners.
