TOWER CREW FOREMAN โ€“ Full-Time Position

Tower Systems is a family-operated company headquartered in Watertown, South Dakota, with a division in Orlando, Florida, and a satellite office. With a global footprint, we provide services wherever theyโ€™re needed.

Compensation

$32+ per hour, based on experience and practical skills assessments.

Why This Role Matters

As a Tower Crew Foreman, you are the on-site leader ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to spec. Youโ€™ll coordinate with Construction Managers, Project Coordinators, and subcontractors while overseeing all field technicians on the job.

Your responsibilities span the full scope of tower construction, including:

  • Installation of all tower types
  • Tower modifications
  • Microwave, antenna, and line installation
  • Lighting systems
  • Maintenance, inspections, and testing
  • Closeout documentation and safety compliance

This is a role for someone who leads by example, communicates clearly, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

What You Bring

  • Ability to work independently while leading a crew of 4โ€“5
  • Strong moral character: dependable, honest, safety-focused
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
  • Proficiency with computers, office suites, data systems, and cameras
  • Ability to read construction drawings, assembly drawings, and RF data sheets
  • Rigging, knot tying, and signaling knowledge
  • Physical stamina to climb towers and lift/pull/push up to 80 lbs
  • Ability to crouch, kneel, twist, and climb using both hands
  • Experience with forklifts, boom trucks, cranes, gin poles, or winches (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel extensively (passport recommended)
  • Ability to work 40โ€“60 hours per week in all weather conditions
  • Relevant trade certifications
  • Clean driving record
