Job Summary:
Join our team as a Cooling Tower Mechanical Technician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our cooling systems. You'll work with cutting-edge technology and a dedicated team to support efficient operations and contribute to sustainable energy solutions.
Requirements
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on cooling tower systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues in cooling towers and associated equipment.• Repair or replace defective components, such as fans, motors, pumps, and valves.
  • Conduct regular cleaning and chemical treatment of cooling tower water systems to prevent scaling and corrosion.• Monitor and adjust cooling tower controls and settings for efficient operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement improvements in cooling tower efficiency.• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new cooling tower systems and components.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and other maintenance personnel.
  • Perform emergency repairs and respond to cooling tower system failures promptly.
  • Keep up to date with the latest cooling tower technologies and maintenance practices.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of cooling tower systems, components, and operations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with cooling towers.
  • Experience with the installation and alignment of cooling tower components.
