Summit City Steel Erection is hiring craftsmen at every level. From guys just getting into the trade to seasoned foremen who've been running iron for twenty years — if you work hard, show up ready, and take pride in what you build, we want to hear from you.

We self-perform structural steel erection, pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) construction, crane services, and millwright work across Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio. We own our fleet, we invest in our people, and we run real work year-round.

About SCSE

Summit City Steel Erection is a full-service structural steel, metal building, and millwright contractor headquartered in Whitley County, Indiana. We run 18+ active jobsites across four states with one of the most equipped fleets in the Midwest, including Liebherr MK 140 mobile tower cranes you won't find on most jobsites.

We install pre-engineered metal buildings from all the major manufacturers — including Nucor, Butler, Chief, Kirby, and American Buildings — and self-perform structural steel from anchor bolt to ridge cap. We're an ISNetworld-approved contractor pursuing AISC Certified Erector and IAS AC478 accreditation, with two AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) on staff.
