Agile Touch Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Macon, Georgia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, helping them regain mobility, and maximizing their quality of life. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients recover to their fullest potential.

Agile Touch Physical Therapy is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in the heart of Macon-Bibb County, Georgia. Our facility spans over 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced technology to provide specialized care to athletes and active individuals. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation services that cater to the diverse needs of our patients. Our team is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that prioritizes patient well-being and satisfaction.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Agile Touch, you will work onsite in our family-oriented rehabilitation center, collaborating with a small team of professionals, including two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Your working hours will be Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a positive work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
  • Assess individual patient needs and set tailored rehabilitation goals that promote their recovery.
  • Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, providing direct care that includes evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans utilizing a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise prescriptions.
  • Educate patients about their conditions and the non-surgical options available to them, aiming to improve their mobility while reducing dependency on medications.
  • Document patient treatment sessions accurately and efficiently using electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Track each patient’s progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Inspire and motivate patients to engage actively in their rehabilitation journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse population of patients ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to individuals managing chronic conditions. Our focus is on empowering each patient by addressing their unique needs and goals through personalized rehabilitation strategies. You will become an integral part of each patient’s progress, fostering healing and encouraging a return to optimal physical health.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state Physical Therapist license with no past board action or disciplinary issues.
  • Strong manual therapy skills and a solid foundation in orthopedic outpatient care.
  • Proficiency in EMR software, with a preference for experience with WebPT.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a sports medicine or rehabilitation setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and effective treatment plans.
  • Familiarity with current trends and advancements in physical therapy practices.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that reflects our commitment to the well-being of our staff.
