Job description

Summary/Objective
The Tote Cleaner is responsible for safely and thoroughly cleaning, inspecting, and preparing totes, press parts, filtration systems, pumps and valves to support production operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, workplace safety, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic, takes pride in doing the job right, remains humble and open to feedback, and works as an excellent team player while consistently following safety and quality procedures.
Essential Functions

  1. Clean silicone totes, tote caps, and press parts in accordance with established procedures
  2. Operate the tote cleaning machine safely and ensure it is functioning and draining properly
  3. Perform visual inspections of totes and press parts during cleaning and preparation
  4. Inspect tote wheels for proper rotation and functionality
  5. Inspect press parts to ensure gaskets are functioning properly
  6. Ensure spouts are securely threaded and properly installed
  7. Change out hose sleeves as required
  8. Break down and assemble press parts for cleaning and preparation
  9. Clean tote caps daily
  10. Offload drums from delivery trucks as needed
  11. Drive a tow motor safely to move materials and totes
  12. Restock supplies, including gloves, paper towels, and steel wool
  13. Use NetSuite and complete required documentation accurately
  14. Follow “Stop – Call – Wait” protocol at all times
  15. Perform tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
Competencies
