Job description

Tacotote is looking for team Members to join our family to embrace its core values, which we summarize as our T.A.C.O.S. (Trustworthy, Attentive, Committed, Outgoing, Supportive)

Summary of Position

Make guests feel welcomed using your T.A.C.O.S. qualities, representing Taco Tote through friendliness and cleanliness, by keeping guests happy and the dining area and salsa bar fully stocked and clean.

Requirements:

  • Good communication Skills
  • Extremely detail oriented and value a work environment that is focused on detailed visuals and cleanliness
  • Disciplined, punctual and friendly by nature
  • Meet all restaurant operating policies and Conduct standards.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US -Everify check required
  • License: Food handlers Card (Required)

Responsibilities:

  • Keep floors, tables, seats clean, wiping down after every guest, Wipe down windows
  • Maintain Salsa bar, beverage counter, soda machine clean
  • Maintain Restrooms clean and stocked (soap, paper rolls)
  • Keep highchairs clean after each use
  • Take out trash/place new bags
  • Maintain stock of chips, Salsa bar, fill ice, and replace sodas

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift supplies up to 70lb; stand for long periods of time (4-8Hrs)
  • Frequent washing hands.
  • Make sure parking lot is clean
  • Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, and produce items.
  • Ability to Read (orders tickets/Receipts)
  • Must be able to Carry, bend, stretch, stoop, lift, shake, stir, carry and push frequently; dealing with variations of temperature from hot to cold.

In 1988, one of Dora's youngest son's opened the first El Taco Tote restaurant in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Inspired by his childhood memories decided to start a very authentic and new concept of tacos.
El Taco Tote's popularity grew, taking it into multiple cities in Mexico and the United States. Today, Tacotote consists of over 20 locations in 11 cities, with more to come.
