Job Title

Roseburg is the heart of the scenic and recreational paradise known as the Land of Umpqua. This land of authentic outdoor adventures and experiences is bordered by picturesque rivers and lush valleys. Roseburg, centrally located in the Douglas County, Oregon is known for its 359 miles of streams along the north and south forks of the Umpqua River. The Roseburg area reflects small-town values, has dedicated business leaders and a strong education system from K-12 to our local community college. The community possesses a hardworking, well-trained workforce. These characteristics have proved instrumental in drawing new residents and companies to the region, while keeping families here for generations. Functions or scope of assigned duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age specific components.
  • Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.
  • Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines.
  • Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex client care.
  • Demonstrates expertise in professional practice using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation) with improved evidence-based and/or data-driven outcomes beyond the immediate practice setting.
  • Leads and organizes delivery of care to ensure continuity of care and peer accountability for practice in alignment with the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
  • Applies advanced clinical knowledge/judgment to lead staff involvement in planning, decision-making, and evaluating outcomes beyond the immediate practice setting.
  • Applies nursing expertise to lead improvement, with demonstrated outcomes, beyond the immediate practice setting.
  • Demonstrates positive, effective communication skills, professional behaviors and leadership that promotes a commitment to excellence, improving nursing practice, and fostering collaboration among customers beyond the immediate practice setting.
