The Tot Spot Early Education Academy is looking for an experienced Child Care Center Director to lead one of our licensed childcare centers in Fishers, Indiana.
This Child Care Center Director position is ideal for an experienced Preschool Director, Child Care Director, Daycare Director, or Assistant Director who is passionate about developing people, building strong relationships, solving problems, and creating an exceptional experience for children and families.

As Our Child Care Center Director, You Will:
  • Lead, coach, and develop teachers and leadership staff.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain outstanding employees.
  • Build a positive, accountable workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with Indiana licensing regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, labor management, and daily operations.
  • Conduct tours and help grow enrollment.
  • Build strong relationships with families through outstanding communication and customer service.
  • Coach employees through regular feedback and accountability.
  • Resolve parent and employee concerns professionally.
  • Keep the center organized, audit-ready, and operating with excellence.

Qualifications
  • Leadership experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or early childhood education program.
  • Experience as a Child Care Center Director, Preschool Director, Child Care Director, Daycare Director, Assistant Director, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare licensing regulations and center operations.
  • Experience hiring, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and confidently solve problems.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to handle routine challenges independently while recognizing when ownership should be involved for significant legal, financial, safety, or strategic matters.
  • Indiana Director qualifications preferred (or ability to qualify).
