What is a tort intake professional?

Tort Intake Professionals are specialized staff who handle the initial intake process for individuals seeking to file tort claims, often with a law firm or claims management company. They gather pertinent information from potential clients, assess the viability of claims, and ensure all necessary documentation is collected. Their role is crucial in determining whether a case meets the firm's criteria before passing it to attorneys for further evaluation. Building empathy and strong communication skills can help navigate sensitive conversations, while regular training and collaboration with legal teams can provide additional support and improve overall efficiency.
