Responsibilities
Expectations: Accomplish day-to-day tactical objectives in support of company and department goals. Demonstrates adherence to company policies and procedures in support of safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale (SQDCM) initiatives. Embraces and promotes company core values to establish and maintain a culture committed to ethical practices, legal compliance, and a union-free environment. Takes initiative to participate in training and developing opportunities to prepare for current and future challenges.
Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
    • Knowledge of safety equipment in order to know what to wear during certain tasks to prevent safety issues.
  • Determine if product is defective in a completed vehicle.
    • Determine if the product complies with all work standards.
  • As a Quality Team Member help prevent OEM down time due to repair or exchange of parts.
  • Understand the OEM assembly process related to Mobis Georgia modules.
  • Understanding of module function (Chassis, Cockpit, FEM, Bumper).
  • Practice 5S in the assigned work area. Keep the work stations, tools and gauges clean and organized.
  • Following all work orders and instruction given by the Supervisor and Management.
  • Continuous application of education material.
  • Must provide daily written reports to the Mobis Quality Team as requested by Management.
  • Participate as a part of the Quality Team; Teamwork is essential.
  • Perform daily torque audits on all chassis lines, CPM, and FEM.
  • Verify that items requiring specific torque values are within specification limits.
  • Verify MES system by performing manual torque readings and MES comparison.
  • Perform audits in Audio Room, FBM, and RBM.
  • Record data on appropriate audit forms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience: 2-5 years automotive tooling experience, or automotive module assembly experience.
Education: High School Diploma/GED required, AA/AS or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
