Job description

KI's manufacturing plant in Bonduel is currently looking for a Receiving Technician on our 2nd shift for our High Pressure Laminate (HPL) Wood Table Tops Department. If you have a safe driving record, experience with warehousing and inventory, this opportunity has your name written all over it!
You will need to inspect product load for accuracy and safely transport it around the warehouse or facility using a forklift to ensure timely and complete delivery. Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles. Load and unload warehouse racking safely. Verify and receive inventory utilizing a computerized MRP system.
• Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to accurately type on a computer keyboard and read a tape measure.
• Employee will pick parts for production, look up locations on the CRT and complete transfers within the system.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and hand pallet jack.
• Must have attention to detail, organization and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to unload core and laminate trucks.
• Assist with production as needed.
This is a second shift opening. Hours are primarily 2pm-12am Monday - Thursday with overtime and weekends required during peak production (summer months).
Successful candidates will have previous warehouse, receiving or shipping experience as well as inventory database knowledge. Preferred candidates will be dependable, flexible, and able to work in a team environment. A safe driving record and successful completion of a drug screen is required.
