Job description


SAIC is seeking an TOPS Technical Training Instructor (TTI). This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and is located in Chantilly, VA.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Deliver, teach, and facilitate courses to meet all course and learning objectives
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) using professional and technical experiences to engage and teach adult learners
  • Monitor student progress during course executions and provide feedback to the customer
  • Support the development of new, or modification of existing courses in coordination with technical instructional systems designers

Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree (four years of relevant experience may substitute in lieu of a degree) and 18 or more years of related experience
  • 5 years of experience serving in PCS customer assignments
  • 10 years of experience within the Intelligence Community (IC)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering content for adult learners
  • Demonstrated experience tailoring communications and facilitating discussions among small and large groups of people with diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to adopt new technologies for knowledge management and/or tailoring of technology to support learning needs
  • Ability as a self-starter, to team effectively, regularly work outside your comfort zone, and to adapt to emerging technologies and evolving requirements
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment and partnering across various customer offices

Desired Qualifications:
  • 3 years as TOPS officer
  • Extensive experience with the customer supporting multiple lines of business
  • Adult learning experience teaching technical courses, student mentoring, and class facilitation
  • Advanced degree in Science, Engineering, or Education
