As a Armed Security Officer - Weekend Days in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a government location supporting veterans, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government veterans services location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
