Job description

ArborBridge is seeking experienced Test Prep tutors to join its Los Angeles team. We are currently hiring tutors for the following subjects/tests/abilities All test preparation including SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests ISEE, SSAT, and other secondary school extrance exams Potential candidates MUST possess the following: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university Commitment for one school year Ability to demonstrate subject mastery Current track record of successful tutoring Aptitude for conveying subject matter in a clear and engaging manner Flexibility to travel to students' homes Passion for academic mentorship Candidates with advanced degrees are strongly encouraged to apply A typical commitment to a student ranges from 2 to 4 hours per week. We are primarily looking for tutors who will be able to take on multiple students and are able to commit to a total of 6 or more hours per week.

Tutors determine their own schedules, and tutoring takes place in the student's home. Lessons take place in the afternoons, evenings and/or weekends. Base rate: $40-$45/hr + potential bonus.
