Position: Executive Host
Department: Marketing
Job Summary: Ensuring a quality experience for patrons while on property. Developing relationships with VIP casino patrons and ensuring incremental visits. Managing discriminatory comps based on player account value. Meeting weekly outreach benchmark goals. Increasing theoretical revenues to coded maintenance group.
Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):
  1. Focuses on the development and retention of top level tier players.
  2. Generates revenue through development of accounts utilizing current databases.
  3. Maintains current player accounts by verifying that contact information is accurate to maintain the integrity of the database.
  4. Maintains the strictest confidence of any and all confidential and proprietary information.
  5. Adheres to control procedures to protect sensitive guest and Casino Del Sol Resort data.
  6. Complies with applicable gaming regulations.
  7. Uses amenities such as complimentary food and event invitations to enhance a player's experience.
  8. Assists in the development of players' club promotions, events, and functions designed to attract and retain top level tier players.
  9. Obtains equipment and supplies needed for each event; monitors equipment to ensure it is maintained and properly functioning.
  10. Manages inventory and ordering to ensure that supplies and products are neither over nor under ordered; ensures inventory is managed and controlled.
  11. Practices resourcefulness in finding new and creative ways to reward and recognize top level tier players.
  12. Spends a significant amount of time being visible and available on the gaming floor in order to meet and greet guests during individual visits as well as during special events. Seeks out new business on the gaming floor.
  13. Resolves guest and team member complaints in a diplomatic and level headed manner quickly, professionally, and effectively; requests supervisor assistance when needed for an uncooperative guest or when unable to fulfill a request.
  14. Maintains constant awareness of services, promotions, and events offered by Casino Del Sol Resort.
  15. Uses diplomacy and tact to build constructive and effective relationships.
  16. Readjusts priorities readily to respond to pressing and changing player demands or requests.
  17. Participates in community functions or events and brings visibility to Casino Del Sol Resort; visits business owners to build loyalty.
  18. Maintains a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, and ethics.
  19. Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell to guests using a guest's name, when possible, and making good eye contact.
  20. Follows all safety and security policies and procedures including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions immediately to a supervisor.
  21. Fosters a team environment by working collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth running operation.
  22. Confers with supervisor to review achievements and discuss needed changes in goals or objectives.
  23. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. Knowledge of gaming concepts, practices, and procedures.
  2. Knowledge of event/meeting standards, practices, and procedures as well as food and beverage products and services.
  3. Knowledge of general accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  4. Knowledge of modern filing and recordkeeping practices and procedures.
  5. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as well as Casino Del Sol Resort internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  6. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software, especially word processing and spreadsheet applications, as well as databases and Casino Del Sol Resort player tracking system.
  7. Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Good organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  9. Strong problem solving skills.
  10. Excellent telephone skills.
  11. Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. 3 years of experience in a commission based sales environment while managing a book of VIP/High Value customers.
  2. Must be able to travel and work long hours.
  3. Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and special events, as needed.
  4. Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
  5. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
