Job Announcement The City of Chandler Cultural Development Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Connection & Impact Manager. The position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional events in the evening and weekends. Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

We are looking for an experienced, collaborative leader who can build strong relationships, guide meaningful programs and initiatives, and develop strategies that strengthen connection and impact across the organization and community. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful problem-solver and effective communicator who can navigate complex and sensitive issues while bringing people together around shared goals.

Minimum qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Public or Business Administration, Human Resources, Sociology or a related field; and 6 years of progressively responsible public sector experience working in the area of human relations or diversity, with experience in program planning, facilitation and mediation, working with community leaders and local government; and 2 years of recent lead or supervisory experience; and A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period.

A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available. All applicants hired will be required to be fingerprinted with successful results as a condition of continued employment. These policies have not been altered by the passage of Proposition 207. The use of recreational marijuana is a violation of the city's Drug Free Workplace Policy. Certain positions within the city are required to submit to a pre-employment drug test.
