Position Overview

As a Production Associate (PA), you provide direct sales and operational support to one or more Loan Officers, serving as a key point of contact for borrowers, retailer partners, and internal operations teams. The PA manages the pipeline from application through processing submission, ensuring files move efficiently, borrowers stay informed, and the Loan Officer is free to focus on business development. This role is an ideal entry point into mortgage origination, with a defined path toward NMLS licensing and a producing Loan Officer role for high performers or through our operations career path.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate loan files from application through processing submission, partnering closely with Operations, and Sales Team.
  • Collect, review, and organize required loan documentation, including customer-signed disclosures, income and asset documentation, and other supporting materials needed to move loans efficiently through the approval process.
  • Serve as a point of contact for borrowers by handling inbound inquiries and conducting outbound follow-up calls regarding loan status, documentation requirements, and next steps throughout the loan process.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through proactive communication, timely follow-up, and professional interactions with borrowers, retail partners, and internal team members.
  • Manage and monitor loan officer pipelines to ensure applications progress efficiently, deadlines are met, and all compliance, disclosure, redisclosure, and regulatory requirements are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate loan records and update systems regularly to support efficient workflow management and ensure a positive borrower experience from application through closing.

  • Cross-functional exposure to Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Funding teams to build a well-rounded understanding of the mortgage lifecycle.
